HOW TO FIND US!

From Effingham: Take Route #40 west towards Altamont, turn south or left on to road #450 North at Muncy's Auto Credit – just past the flea market with all the orange garage doors. We have a large white sign on that crossroads on the south side of the road. Follow #450 as it crosses over the Interstate, and then turns left, going east. The road then “T's”, follow the right turn heading south again. You will then see the Altamont Water Treatment Plant, a large brick building. Directly across for it we have a small white sign on Road #825 East. You will turn east or left, and follow this road to the end of the dead end. You will go into the woods, come to a clearing where our mailbox is and you can see the neighbor, but not us. Keep to the left of the Y and we are at the end of the road, the turn for the kennel is the first one when you see the three log buildings.

From Vandalia or West: Take I-70 east and exit at the Altamont exit. At the stop sign at the end of the exit, there will be a frontage road #900 East, also called Mill Road. Follow it east (a double left turn off the exit) for two miles until you reach a stop sign. At the stop sign turn south or right and then follow the turns in the road to the left and right until you see the Altamont Water Treatment plant, a large brick building. We have a small white sign there, you will turn east or left onto road #825 East and go to the end of the dead end – see ending directions above.

From the North: Follow Main street all the way through Altamont passing under the Interstate and turn on the frontage road #900 – Mill Road. Then follow the directions above from Vandalia.

From the South: Take the Altamont-Farina blacktop to the frontage road just south of Interstate #70 interchange and turn east onto the frontage road #900 – Mill Road. Then follow the directions as above from Vandalia.
